Tim has always enjoyed expressing himself through his art work. He studied at Lansing Community College in the Commercial Arts Program. Tim is a multiple award winning artist.
He began his full-time career with General Motors in 1976, retiring in 2009. While at General Motors, Tim's talents were used in many different roles throughout his career. He then found part time employment at Dean Transportation as a bus driver for special needs children.
Tim is a very versatile artist and is accomplished in many different mediums, whether it be oil paints, color pencil, pastels, or markers. He likes to explore these different mediums in various genres of artwork, including wildlife, caricatures as well as human and pet portraits. His passion for railroads and transportation also comes through in his work.
To keep his knowledge and practice fresh in graphic artwork, he has occasionally created logos for various businesses.
Tim and his wife have lived their lives together in Holt, Michigan.
They have two sons that live in the surrounding area and two beautiful grandchildren, Adrienne and Benett. When not in his studio you can find him camping, cycling and playing his guitars.
